I’m trting to find a used gate like this in any condition or a handle (seen on upper right corner of the picture) with a brass top. I’ve checked Old iron on 9th st with no luck.

How much for someone to make one?  I can easily weld the steel up and grind down the top to whatever shape and braze the top with brass.  what do you think?  the hardest part about these small jobs is having to visit to start the job and drop the product off – if you can come to me, I can make this work. We need one too! Our gate is missing the handle as well and we’ve been looking for one – with no luck thus far.
