Landscaper/Horticulturist to prune bamboo and give pruning tips

We have a 36″ wide, 28″ deep and 16′ long masonry container that we planted 4 phyllostachys bamboo (not sure of the exact type), which were donated from an existing stand from a neighbor. The container is adjacent to a masonry wall of a new building along side our property. (as seen on the Greenwood Hts. garden reno blog)

It has been 3 years and we were looking to prune the new/old growth, but after reading pruning tips in books and online, feel very uneasy about pruning and damaging the plants. Or, a pruning that ends up making the stand look unattractive. Currently they have completely filled out the container and the bamboo (mostly the old growth) is leaning away from the wall into the garden area. The tallest part of the stand is approx. 20 ft. above ground level, though most tops out at about 10 ft.

We are looking to contract a **landscaper or horticulturist to prune the bamboo and give pruning tips to us** for further DIY pruning, though there may be need for a repeat professional pruning in a few years. The applicant should **have experience with bamboo in an urban environment**.
