Replacing Fence - Landmarked

I have a property which is about 140 feet deep. 100 feet of my property (from 40 feet off of the street) currently has a Cedar Fence that is falling over. The 40 feet to the street has a combination chain link and plastic fence. I also have about 30 feet of chain link dividing my front yard from neighbor. I am planning to submit a permit to LPC to replace ALL of the fencing with high quality cedar fencing – including the 30 feet of chain link between my neighbor’s yard AND the 40 feet of combo chain link/plastic to the street. Should I anticipate a problem getting approval? I am looking to totally upgrade the unattractive fencing to a much more uniform solution. Would I be better off leaving the chain link alone and just replacing the existing cedar fencing with cedar fencing? I prefer the uniform solution but this is my first project under the LPC.
