Landmark district garage renovation

I’m looking to upgrade a garage in a landmarked area (Ditmas Park), which might involve replacing the door. The garage is at the end of a driveway, and it’s partially visible from the street. Does anyone know I have to get permission from a city department, if I were to change the door (while keeping the same color scheme)?
