unused Heating Oil
I’ve recently switched my heating to nat gas. At some point in the near future my 1080 gallon oil tank will be cut up and removed – part of that process involves emptying its remaining 400+ gallons of unused #2 heating oil. I figure this remaining oil is technically considered “waste”, but before the tank gets removed i’m wondering if some/all of it could be recovered to either sell (for peanuts, to be sure), or donate to a worthy recipient.
