Tankless Water Heaters

Does anyone have experience with using tankless hot water heaters, like this one, in a residential application? As the other posters said…this a unit usually installed in a restaurant or similar high use location. Unless you have an appropriate gas service and meter bar you would need a dig up and new service to even think about installing the unit

You probably haven’t got the gas meter to supply that heater and you probably don’t have the clearance from doors and windows to vent it through a side wall. So, you’ll have to vent it to the roof but you can’t use the chimney for that because it’s being used by something else. https://heatinghelp.com/heating-museum/tankless-water-heaters/

That little beauty takes 380,000 btu, over double what a house boiler uses. Should be easy to install…
