Replacing boiler - Weil Mclain or Burnham

I am installing a new boiler.  Any preference on the brand?  I’ve narrowed it down to the Burnham P206-NG (http://goo.gl/YDk9a) and Weil Mclain CGA-6 (http://goo.gl/pg6NB). Suggestions welcomed!

As per price difference between standard efficiency boilers and high efficiency, this is a misconseption, that high efficiency boiler costs double or triple over standard efficiency. Properly,  and i want to stress word PROPERLY installed standard efficiency boiler, installed in non commercial house 4 and less floors, costs maybe 10-15% less than high efficiency. Problem is, that most of the standard efficiency boilers installed with no regards to manufacturer recommendations and good trade practices, cutting all corners with assumption, that customer needs only lowest price, but not  comfort and savings.

There are still valid reasons for installing standard-efficiency boilers. Not everyone has the money these days to double or triple the expense of a new boiler by going with Ultra High Efficiency.

do not forget that the venting conditions for a condensing boiler are completely different than a standard gravity vent boiler…you cannot use the masonary chimney( but may be able to use it as a chase)and may be able to vent out the back, depending on the distance  fom windows doors, etc

do not forget to consider triangle tube as an option, or the burnham alpine http://www.triangletube.com/TriangleTubeProduct.aspx?CatID=1&PID=31 http://www.pexsupply.com/Burnham-ALP150-Alpine-150000-BTU-Condensing-Boiler-11345000-p oh yeah.. be sure that your plumber has performed an EDR calculation (measuring the radiation in the houseand calculating needed BTUs) in properly sizing the boiler , rather than reading the nameplate on the existing boiler an just matching it

the plumber who came over a few months ago recommended the 2 i posted.  the current guy doing the work said he’d install either one.  to make a long story short the boiler is being shifted because the previous owners had it exhausting to backyard (ridiculous), he is now going to hook it up to the chimney.

we just bought a house and it came with a Slant Fin SE-175DP.  the home inspector told us we should probably replace it.  it has been working fine. we’ve been doing some major work and will be moving the boiler to a different part of the basement.  the contractor said his plumber has no issues with us installing a new one.  i thought this would be a perfect opportunity.  btw the current plumber is not the person who recommended those 2 from the original post.

Why are settling on the worst type of boiler?  These boilers are least efficient and provide least comfort.
