heating oil company rec's

We currently use Repco Fuel to deliver our heating oil. It’s been ok, but we’re not too thrilled (they’re pretty lax when a service issue comes up). Does anyone recommend a particular heating oil company? We’re in Bed-Stuy.

For twenty years Scarlino in park slope took great care of us and our ancient oil burner. Anytime we needed service they were there ridiculously fast and all their service people are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. It’s an old-school Brooklyn company, very local and non-corporate, but professional and efficient. Never had a problem with a delivery,. They can fix anything, and if you have an old oil burner these guys are the best. We switched to gas last year and the only thing I don’t like about the new boiler is that we don’t get to deal with Scarlino anymore.

Many of my neighbors used Petro.  One of them said the service was good.  I used them in PA but not for oil
