Green Mountain boilers?

Our plumber is recommending a “green mountain” boiler, has anyone had experience with this brand or know if they are reliable/good quality? Thank you.

It’s the cheap boiler division of Weil-McLain bought by the parent company to compete with Crown and Utica for the “builder’s grade” market. The only reason for a plumber to recommend that brand is if the client clearly has no money, so if that’s not you, ask your plumber for an upgrade. Interesting fact?: Green Mountain was a brand a lot of people got from FEMA during the Rapid Repairs Program after hurricane Sandy.
