Excess heating oil

I am upgrading to a gas furnace and have a nearly full tank of heating oil.  Anyone know whether I can donate or otherwise part ways with the oil other than having to pay someone to come and collect it ?

Contractor doing oil to gas conversion must do everything. you should only pay him for doing his job.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen ads on Craigslist for guys who will pay YOU to take it away- check there first.
