Steam boiler replacement

Hi there,

Full disclaimer: My brownstone is in Manhattan not Brooklyn so I hope I’m not breaching etiquette by posting here. My wife was born in Brooklyn. Does that count ? 😉

We are contemplating the replacement of our very antique steam boiler. Who has had a wonderful experience with an HVAC specialist, reasonably priced, of course. We did some exploration a couple of years ago and got estimates all the way from $5000 to $12,000. I want it done properly but I dont want to spend 12 thousand for a 5 thousand dollar job. Well, who does?
