Recommendations for Steam or Hydronics contractors?

We have a 3 family brownstone. Our 1950s oil boiler (feeding steam radiators) has finally sprung a leak, and we are going to replace it. We are planning to convert to gas. Trying to decide between A)putting in a new steam boiler and cleaning up the boiler room pipes vs. B) converting to hydronics. We got one great, detailed visit and quote. Would like to get 2-3 more. If anyone has a contractor they loved working with who specifically installed a new steam or hydronics system, I’d love to have the name. Thanks!

Gateway is a rip off. Eman is the real deal. There aren’t many old school steam guys like him left.

I’m a homeowner, and Master Plumber’s shop, Gateway, installed a new gas boiler for us this summer in our PLG limestone, replacing an old oil-fired unit. Most of house is steam, but Gateway also installed a hydronic loop for our basement tenant’s apt as well – all went well, price was reasonable given the high quality of service, fast work, and excellent communication. Highly recommended.
