Mini split system BTU question

I am planing to use mini split system as the sole heating source for my two family home ( total square foot is 3600 including basement) . Unit 1 is 1/2 of basement and entire garden level. Unit 2 takes up 2 and 3 floors. Is 30k 4 zone system good enough for 2 bedrooms, living + kitchen area and basement in unit 1? Will 48k 5 zone unit provide enough heat for 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen in unit 2? Should I use one system for each unit or one system for each floor? What is the pros and cons?
