MEP engineer recommendation for HVAC

Can anyone recommend and MEP engineer who can design an HVAC system for a row house?

I’ve had a few contractors in to discuss a renovation project, and all are various degrees of uncertain on how to best add HVAC to our row house. Most of the contractors have said they would need to bring on an MEP engineer, or use an HVAC sub that their own MEP engineer.

For ease of comparing contractor bids, and because it sounds like we’ll end up paying for proper engineering work one way or another, I’m trying to hire an MEP directly to design our HVAC system. I’ve searched through past forum posts and it doesn’t look like there’s any recent MEP engineer recommendations–anyone have any to recommendations share?
