I need my Gas Boiler (Weil-McLain EG-45) cleaned by pro - recommendations?

My Weil-McLain EG-45 is over 15 years old, and it was suggested that I have it “taken apart” so that it can be thoroughly cleaned. This has nothing to do with the chimney. It’s the actual unit and the piping inside it.

Can someone please recommend someone that services Brooklyn/Staten Island (NY) area and specializes in this?

Okay..I get it… you are referring to taking apart some of the boiler jacket removing the vent hood, which will probably entail disconnecting the duct leading to the chimney and thoroughly cleaning any soot buildup between the sections. Any decent boiler mechanic can do this. Im surprised that your plumber did not offer to take care of it

We use and like AAL Boiler Service (917-952-3964 / 718 788-1860 ). You might want to call them to get a second opinion and do the work if required.
