Wrong classification with DOF, bank wants escrow to fix

I’d be more optimistic if this were a big bank with an out of state underwriter, who is susceptible to a “you don’t understand NYC” argument. Still, if it were me I’d push back once with a “why do you need this, it doesn’t make sense?” inquiry and they might say something you can work with.

Ridgewood has great terms, but are very particular. I don’t think they’ll back off of this.
