Worth it to install water line for fridge water/ice maker in rental?

Renovating a higher quality rental unit and trying to figure out if it’s worth it to add a new water line to supply the fridge for a water dispenser and ice maker. Plumber wants $350. It seems like most fridges nowadays come with the dispenser and ice maker.
I just don’t know if at a certain quality of rental apartment, this would be expected or seen as a noticeable amenity.
Any thoughts? Thanks all.

This is one of those things that prospective renters can notice, but it won’t usually persuade an existing renter to stay. If you have a space saving fridge or lots of occupants/bedrooms, taking up extra fridge/freezer space with ice/water dispenser is not recommended. If you have ample fridge compartment space even after installing then I would go for it if you happen to have the plumber around anyway. If that $350 helps save you a month of vacancy loss this year and/or in the future it will be money well spent

And on the same topic- He was going to do flexible copper piping for the line. Is that better than the plastic tubing?
