I posted a few weeks ago about how I was looking for somone to replicate/repair two cracked panes in my pocket doors. They’re carved using what’s called the brilliant-cut or wheel-cut method. I found two artisans in the US and a bunch in the UK and Ireland. As I expected, it’s not cheap: to replicate my 31″x29″ panes, the price is about $1100!
Out of my budget, but wanted to leave the info here for anyone who might need it. It’s really beautiful work.
