Water Bugs/Roaches in Basement- Need Exterminator

Look to see if you have an uncapped line somewhere. That happened to us when a plumber cut an old pipe, without putting on the 25 cent plastic cap!

We seem to have a consistent water bug/roach problem in our basement- we have been using an exterminator who just seems to be ‘managing’ the issue- but we need to solve it- have done a lot of the basics- filled cracks/openings etc… but the pad these put down still get filled and occasionally they make it out of the basement ….

Any recos of good exterminators that actually SOLVE issue vs. manage (pay them every couple of months to come back)?

There are so many good exterminators out there and there are so many types of pest control method. You should choose exterminators who use methods which are safe and do not harm. an exterminator suggested using glue traps – waterbugs, et. al are attracted to the scent.
