Sidewalk Lien Violation and refinancing

city has no $$$.
I would be shocked if your bank cared as its not on title and they know you have homeowners (contains liability) insurance as required for closing. .

@johnhancock you just never know with the city but they are always changing things around. Someone at DOT sidewalk management unit told me their mother recently had a sidewalk violation and had it resolved this way by calling 311. I’ll see what happen in the next 30 days

I called them a few months ago when I renewed my insurance, they gave me the info that it’s arranged through the community board and that there were no plans to do any sidewalks in our district!
