Seeking a sidewalk concrete contractor.

Yep. NatGrid will fix the pipe(s) and a city contractor follows up to replace the sidewalk. (For my interpretation anything that is a utility I term the ‘City’ if I have to care for it), but NatGrid has a City contractor coming out after they are done to put down the new cement. My mom is pleased to see this being done and it is minimal cost to her. It may even be free since they showed how they branched a pipe off of a rusted one and plopped the access cover in the middle of her sidewalk close to the house. They should have ripped it all out from the main and put in new.

I have a family member in StuyHeights who is being hassled over the sidewalk in front of their house.

I am seeking a professional, knowledgeable, reliable and reasonably priced company who is highly experienced in removing old concrete, putting in new concrete with proper expansion joints and who can accommodate city utilities such a street lamp and utility caps. This company should also be able to lay out the concrete in alignment with the existing curb and who also can (if necessary) pull the permits.

If anyone has any experience with a company and can reach out to me and send photos that would be great.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Turns out the city has some ratty and rusting gas pipes so they will do it for her since lord knows they don’t want a gas eruption. But I will keep these suggestions just in case.

The City? I’d think that if gas pipes are the problem it would be National Grid’s job.
