Ring -brand outdoor video cameras - yeah or nay?

We want to install a video surveillance system for our brownstone (top, bottom, and back doors) to aid with security/potential theft issues. We are looking at the solar versions of “ring” brand products (links below). Does anyone have any experience with these? There is a combo doorbell+security camera, and separate cameras that can be installed wherever needed. They use wifi and have recording/storage functions.

Can anyone recommend in terms of maintenance, overall quality, clarity of image, etc.? And then there is the overall issue that any semi-sophisticated robber could cover the camera or maybe pull it out, thus rendering them useless.
