I am finding this forum to be very helpful…thanks to everyone for the advice on the boiler. I am now faced with a new problem and hope to get some help from you all. I started hearing some noise in my roof and upon investigating the outside of the house I noticed a small opening in the eaves where I am joined to the next door neighbor. The neighbor had prior problems with his roof and rotting eaves and had some handyman do some patch work so I am wondering if this caused the small opening. My roof is only 9 years young while his is over 20 years. To complicate matters the neighbor in the back of me had a raccoon living in her garage and started doing work about a month ago, so lots of noise. I am wondering if the noise i am hearing in the roof is either the racoon that has relocated or a rogue squirrel that has taken up residence. I would like to get the problem taken care of before full winter sets in. Can anyone please provide recommendations for a reputable pest exterminator who can assess and handle the problem and also a roofer that can close the gap once the critter is taken out?
