Removing cork from wall
She considering buying one of those stick and peel cork tiles or using the contact cement. I’ll let her that it will be an undertaking to remove the cork later. Thanks.

Actually, this is for a friend who is thinking about putting cork on her walls of her rental. She’s doing this for work reasons and also the added benefit of some soundproofing. Has anyone had issues removing the cork from the wall? She would like to apply the cork directly on the wall, but wants to know if it’s a problem removing the cork from the walls without damaging the walls.

if that is put on with the weldwood contact cement, it is going to be a bear to get off. be careful. i can tell what will happen if it is contact cement: she will try to rip the cork off and it will crumble and she will end up scraping the cork/glue residue from the walls and even that will be less than perfect.
