recommendation for eviction lawyer,

When I started out 40 years ago a wise old RE Guy told me to go down to the Court & see what the Attorneys have to deal with, listen to some of the cases. Difficult I know because they are all settled in the hallways or in back rooms etc and the Judges mostly only go over the stipulations and everyone goes on their way until the next round of show causes, adjournments etc etc.
But you will see which Attorneys the Judges “respect” is a loose word, but at least which ones are better than others. Who is there every day or at least there enough to know their way around to get things done.
But the bottom line is: it is best to avoid going there at all. What is the issue with your tenant? It is always best to try & work it out.

No decent L & T lawyer wants anonymous referrals. L & T Court is insane enough as it is without unknown Landlords expecting miracles.
If I referred you to my lawyer; who luckily I have not needed in a while, she would have nothing good to say to me, because as she says; she does not have time to council novice landlords on the illogical process & obstacles that can come along. Especially when she has no idea how you mange your buildings or keep your records.
Anyone I do refer; she knows that I know how they manage their buildings etc.

Resident2, I see the point you’re making, but then how is anyone supposed to find a trusted L&T lawyer?
