Hello, wonder if anyone could advise me. I had a window restorer build new windows and install them in the new casements. My house is 100 years old and have suffered from settlement. It turned out to look like this [C7736968-9537-464D-9113-F6B567E683A6(c77369689537464d9113f6b567e683a6.jpeg)
Can anyone advise if this is acceptable? The fitter said “ we removed existing casements, renovate and paint the bay frame, and fit our new Accoya casements. We pointed out the we would have to make them oversize and ‘scribe’ to the out of square bay frame. We would try our best to achieve a ‘glass line’ that lined up, although the casements would be fitted the the out of Square openings.”
Is this acceptable before I speak to them about it? Don’t want to be unreasonable.
Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you
