New GC or Home improvement contractor needed

Since buying my brownstone three family house in in Carroll Gardens 1984 I’ve done a number of kitchen and bath renovations in my apartment and in the rentals. The contractors have been just ok. none close to the quality seen on This Old House on public television or Holmes and Holmes on HGTV. That quality of work and materials is no doubt immensely expensive and more than I could pay unless I win the lottery. Certain in NYC there are many high end A plus contractors that do the kind of work I see on TV but I’ll have to settle for grade C until I hit the Lotto!
