We absolutely hear you, and we’re happy to see these kinds of discussions from the regulars. Well, I’ve have to add another irritation. Just got to entering a comment on a thread and when I clicked Reply, it did nothing but come up with a Discussion Closed message.. On a new thread! Thanks for throwing away a long text.

Also, what is the purpose of the second text box below where you’re typing? As a website designer, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s confusing and unnecessary. And please use a text cursor instead of the non-standard Hand in the comment box!

But what you are suggesting, and I agree, is that they really ought to take stock of what their readership in general thinks of the direction of the site, which is better done through a group feedback mechanism such as a survey.
