Also, YouTube has so many interesting videos on pretty much any garden subject you would need.

Our place has a garden however the plants survive out of pure luck. Can anyone recommend an introductory home gardening 101 class in Brooklyn or the city?

Botanic Garden gives classes – not sure if you have to be a member to take them but I think not.
