ConEd Smart Meter

I didn’t get anything in the mail–the contractor just rang my doorbell a few months ago and installed the new meter.

Anyone has a smart meter yet?
They supposedly replacing all meters until 2022. No more people running through the house. Can’t wait.
I just called to ask how to get one, but there seems no way to request it unless you have medical reasons.

Yes, they are upgrading area by area. Once they are coming to your neighborhood, you will get something in the mail to schedule an apt if your meter is inside the house. The upgrade literally takes a 10-15 mins and done by Aclara contractor.
