Changing size of patio garden
Yes technically there is, if you cover ground you’re supposed to supply drains or drywells and it would be very complicated and expensive. However I think you’d be safe just added 15 sq feet of patio without filing anything.

I’m renovating my garden patio area. I currently have a dirt garden on some of it, and intend to change the size a bit (not by much, say 15 sqft or so). Someone told me there is some sort of DOB regulation about changing the amount of concrete covering of your patio, but I can’t find any info on this. I’m not in a landmarked district. Does anyone know if there’s any truth to this and what exactly is allowed?
