Bathroom wall tiling: Cost of custom/intricate pattern vs regular tile

Well you can get custom sheeted mosaic tile made, and then that would probably not be too different from installing other types of tile in terms of installation cost. I’d call a company that makes custom mosaics and figure out how they would price the type of pattern you would want. Artaic comes up in a quick google search, looks like they’ve made some mosaics for the subway, they might not be the cheapest. My guess is that this project can be done for a reasonable price, but with increased lead time, and possible headaches with communicating the design. I’ve never done this though. Good luck.
