Wondering where folks get their front and rear flat basement hatches these days, and what I might expect to pay for them. Have seen a few around the neighborhood with what look like small exhaust vents integrated. I found some info in the forum dating back to 2011. Looking for some updated takes on this. Thanks in advance.

I think most people have theirs custom made by an iron works. Mine doesn’t have an exhaust vent, but I did have a small door put in so that I could take out my hose without opening the entire hatch. IIRC it cost $900 a few years ago. I used Virgo Iron Works and was pleased with their work.
