Average time for ConEd to approve updating electrical box?

We foolishly thought it would just be a simple update to the electrical box, we got a credit from the sellers, and our electrician and contractor said it was a “standard procedure.” Six weeks later all we know is we’re waiting on “energy services” and we can’t get a clear idea of what the timeline really is and where we are in the process? I assume the problem is ConEd? But maybe it’s also our electrician? Any advice?

file a complaint with the ny public service commission …. con ed will have to respond within 2 weeks
