Backyard fence for townhouse

I used Grand Illusions too. I am very happy with it, no maintenance and standing strong after 12 years. Definitely consider your neighbors yards when you choose solid vs slatted. Weeds in neighboring yards will find an easy route to yours if you have slatted openings in the fence. On the other hand, it’s nice to have a bit of air flow, so figure out what’s important to you. Keep any extra material just in case.

Hello – Has anyone used Trex composite fencing for their backyard fencing? If yes, would love to hear some thoughts on it as it is something that our contractor told us to consider as an option along with cedar and redwood.

I’m not familiar with Trex but I installed a Grand Illusions brand vinyl fence six years ago and love it. It’s tongue and groove.
Zero maintenance is the main reason I went that route. Their faux Driftwood color is surprisingly appealing, for a non wood fence..
