ISO person/info to clear out an overgrown back yard

Call Gus: 718-757-9630, debrigus@aol.com He knows all this stuff and is reasonable. If you get to the planning stage later, you might want to talk to his wife, Debbie, for a design or suggestions.

Hi – We finally moved in to our South Slope frame house.  The backyard hasn’t been tended in *years* – but I hear tell there are some lovely rose bushes buried under the weeds . . . We have a lot to do on the interior still, and aren’t ready to tackle planning the back, but would like to be able to use the space in the meantime for kids outdoor toys, grilling, etc., and plan any actual gardening for NEXT season. . . First, what might I expect to pay a person to clear out the wild growth? That is, to cut it down AND remove it.  I’m not ready for a landscaper yet, but would like someone who would know enough not to cut down a rose bush or any other gems that might be there.  (and I *don’t* so I wouldn’t be much help on that front) Second, does anyone have a person to recommend? Thanks.
