Repair for wood flooring?

Any recommendations for someone to repair a hardwood floor?  I don’t need an artist, just hoping for someone competent, affordable, and totally fluent in English.  Funny, all the floor guys used to be Irish, but that doesn’t seem to be true any more.

I’m not finding a listing for Old Oak Floors – do you happen to have a number? By the way, my comment about the Irish was just a neutral observation.  Doesn’t matter to me as long as there’s no language problem.  M, I’d be happy to call an American, obviously.

DIbs, if I have a really simple job–to replace a saddle in an ex-doorway with flush oak strips like at other openings, would he do it? (Some guys don’t want to bother.)

Screw the Irish, lazy drunks. (I’m part Irish).  Use Jose.  His English is better than most Irish and he did a great job replacing missing Greek key pieces in my floor and patching in a few 3″ strips as well   917-355-7977
