Recommendation for Queensboro FLooring Corp

Ok, I have been using these folks on and off for a little while.  not for anything big but maybe abrasives and at one time I learned that they had 5/16″ strip oak (the kind used in most Parquet in the townhomes), so I had bought some of that.  They are a little slow to warm to customers as they are not from here (though when they heard my last name they got a laugh trying to see if I spoke or even understoond any Polish).  After today though, I have to give them a good turn on here:  we rented a floor edger from them and damaged the collection bag.  I took the machine back to them fully expecting to have to pay for the bag.  they would hear nothing of it and sent me on my way.  Had this been HD they would have made a federal case out of it.  I also think their rental price was less then HD.  Queensboro Flooring is located at 28 Herbert Street by the BQE at the south end of McGuiness, Phone 718-349-0924.  They carry wood flooring (including the strip flooring so many people look for on this site) and all of the finishes inc Basic Coatings and Bona.   Steve www.thetinkerswagon.com
