ISO experienced engineered wood flooring installer

We just installed some engineered wood floor (floating click and lock) in our tenant’s apartment.  Unfortunately, the installer that we used did not have much experience installing engineered wood, and we now have some gaps and cracks in one section of the floor that we need fixed.  Does anyone have a recommendation for someone that they’ve used to install this type of flooring?  Thanks in advance!

Do you have extra flooring? It may be that some of the flooring was not straight to begin with and these pieces should be discarded. Or it may be the installer failed to follow a true straight line or did not fully interlock some pieces. There are a few possibilities – the flooring may have been installed in humid conditions and is now shrinking. Was a correct underlayment used? I do a lot of it but would need to see it to tell you what the problem is. Call me at 917 886 9576 and we can discuss further. – John.
