What the OP is asking for is a specialty.  Pouring concrete is one thing, which I as a GC do.  Polishing it and sealing are something else.  I’ve been soliciting bids for polishing 1200 SF concrete.  I have received bids thus far from Avant Design and Manhattan Concrete, both of which seem very competent.  Yesterday my client and I toured the new Nordstrom’s Rack in Union Square to take a look at Manhattan Concrete’s work.  I know that both specialty contractors also do smaller jobs.

I used Robert Rowen, who specializes in concrete and tile.  He refinished mine, and it has radiant heat in the slab (which scared off some other concrete guys and jacked the price way up for others).  He is incredibly professional, great to work with, and did a good job for a good price.  I had met with quite a few other people, and one in particular (based in Long Island City) who came out several times and was supposed to actually do the job, but just flaked out repeatedly.  I am so glad I ended up finding Robert!  When we save up enough to redo our bathroom, I’ll happily have him do it…  Please tell him the folks in the carriage house in prospect heights recommended him.   Hey!! I just looked up his contact info to post his website here, and it looks like he renamed his business Avant Design (as opposed to Robert Rowen design, which I think is what it used to be.)  So yeah, it’s the Avant design noted above.  There are even pics of my place in there…
