Suggestions for disposing of a front-yard planter
Since it’s small and you’re a homeowner, not a contractor, you can probably dispose of it through the regular NYC garbage system. Check out their website for rules and to schedule a pickup.

Hi, we constructed a 7’x11′ planter that is 2 feet high to add greenery in the front yard of our row-house. We used railroad ties as the border. We now want to remove it (homemaking by rats, deterioration of the ties, etc.). I’d like to this all at once vs. trying to do it piecemeal through normal trash removal.
First, any recommendations for people or organizations to do this work and second, any recommendations of whether we could reduce the price by bagging it all ourselves and then getting quotes for just removal.
Thanks in advance.
