Landmark district exterior building repair
Our building needs a minor repair on the exterior cornice. It’s in the landmark district. We were told it’s necessary to put a bridge and scalffolding for the repair. The repair only takes 2 days, but the minimum rental for the bridge is 3 months and expensive. Any advice please!

Dave, I believe the hanging scaffold is no longer approved.

Whay aren’t you allowed to use scaffolding that’s hung from the top of the building? That’s how all the facade work gets done where I am.

Thanks. Do we have to arrange this ourselves or the exterior contractor will arrange this? This sounds reasonable!

check the bom lift or a platform lift. a 1,000 will get you one for a week. Steve
