James Hardie siding installation

We want to re-side our frame house with James Hardie siding. Brownstoners have recommended T&A Carpentry, but they don’t seem to answer emails or phone calls. Are they still in business? Are there any other companies that are recommended to install James Hardie siding?

Well, I’m not sure which companies are highly recommended when it comes to installing James Hardie siding. However, when I needed siding installed on my home, I researched online and came across a company named [Advanced Home Exteriors](www.advancedhomeexteriors.net). I hired this company to install James Hardie siding onto my house. For the record, I’m not trying to sound like one of those annoying ads or anything. I’m merely saying that was the company that installed my siding, and they did a pretty good job. My suggestion to you is to do proper and thorough research on the matter, and find a recommended company that is closest to where you live. If you are short on time, you can always give Advanced Home Exteriors a try. A link to their website can be found below. Lastly, you can also just install the siding yourself. Hi NJS, Just wondering how this worked out for you. Did you find someone you would recommend someone to do the same on my frame house? Any other lessons learned (cost, time, permits, etc)? Any thoughts from your experience would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Don’t want to promote myself but we have installed plenty of Hardi siding. Most of it in Long Island as way more frame houses there but we’ve done a few large ones in Park Slope and Red Hook also. http://brownstoner.staging.wpengine.com/curated
