Need to organize phone wiring

Hi – We need someone who can organize our jumble of phone wires.  The main phone wire comes into a closet and then (sort of) connects to the various wires that run to the rest of the house.  The connection point is a jumble and we need someone who can add order to our wire chaos.  We’re not sure if this is an electrician’s job or someone else’s.  Please provide recommendations.  Thanks very much.

A real good handyman.  I am a contractor but I wire everything in my own house including phone and internet and have been wiring telephones since I was in junior high (I ran jacks all over the house).  We also handled some of out telecom in an office building i was in.  this is very easy. Now, technically, in NYC, it is an electrician’s job.  I am not offering to do this as the UWS sounds to me like Upper West Side (I sometimes come in there to help people out when I can combine it with something else – but i have none planned).   If you wish, you can try to get a telecom contractor.  they do exist.      Steve
