Electrician recommendations

Hi,
I am looking for an electritcian to work on a renovation of our house in Bed-Stuy. We are putting in a new kitchen, a half bath, new fixtures and fans and moving a few walls around etc.
Looking for some recommendations for a licenced, reliable and affordable electrician.

I absolutely recommend MEDCO ELECTRIC. Rich is extremely knowledgeable and an expert. His team is reliable, clean and trustworthy. The completed an entire re-wire of our 2 BR apartment – 100% to code including all smoke detectors, outlets, lighting fixtures and TV/Cable and Internet. Rich took the daunting task of a re-wire which was new to us and gave us a coplete understanding of what would be done. We could not be more satisfied.

We have been very happy with Paul of WCK (maybe now this is Lidmar) and highly recommend them. They are based in Bed Stuy. They are fast, efficient, very reasonably priced, extremely responsive, and they understand how to wire an old brownstone without hurting any of the plaster or wood work. They didn’t break a single medallion. They charged us $15,000 in 2009 to completely redo three floors plus a cellar using PBX cable. They are licensed and insured.
