Carroll Gardens Electrician and estimated costs

Looking for a licensed electrician in the Carroll Gardens area: Any feedback on estimated costs for the following: Changing an existing ceiling light fixture Changing an existing ceiling light fixture to a ceiling fan Changing a light switch to a dimmer Owner to provide supplies (dimmers and light fixtures) The unit is newly wired.

The change of light & the dimmer are really d-i-y & shouldn’t be more than $50 each imo.

This is my electrician review from a few weeks ago. This is a lot of the kind of stuff he did, and I would very much trust him to do it again. http://brownstoner.staging.wpengine.com/forums/topic/electrician-review/ For the price, I noted in the review, he didn’t itemize. But you shouldn’t get charged more than a couple hundred dollars total for the fixture and the switch. The ceiling fan is the unknown. The fan needs support, so if the existing light is just floating in the drywall, it will involve extra work. Still, no more than a couple hundred dollars for this unless he has to do substantial carpentry. Either way, buy a big medallion.
