so what's the real deal with Flor tiles?

They look great in all the listings and catalogs, but turn out to be nothing but pure dirt magnets in my house. What am I missing? Need new rug in living room. Heavy traffic, crawling baby, needs to HIDE dirt. Any specific Flor patterns recommended? TIA.

Don’t be insulted.. but how often do you clean?   Do you have an abnormal source of dirt (nearby construction, pets, etc?)

The simple answer might just be “clean more” – especially if you’re not used to carpet (even low pile tiles like flor)

With a baby crawling around – i’d be more concerned with what he’s picking up than putting down.

I have a dog – and my area rugs (low pile) need to be vacuumed constantly.    When a reno was going on across the street – i had to vac 3x a day.

Carpet holds dirt…  you’re not really missing anything, other than more cleaning, unfortunately.
