Looking for some ideas/help. My bottom stair has a hole (see pic below). I’d love some ideas on how I can fix or perhaps someone who can actually tackle this small project. Appreciate the help!

That is an easy fix. Fill the hole with some spray foam insulation and let it dry. Shave the insulation with a knife so it is flush to the surface. Use some wood fill and mesh tape to make it smooth. Let it dry. Sand and paint.
