Hello Brownstoners, I may have bit off more than I can chew. Project in fresh meadows queens, special district. 1\. Do I need to file a seperate application for demo work w/ seperate job #? 2\. Two walls are remaining on ground floor, but 2nd story & roof are being removed & theirs (1) new foundation wall (existing are remaining). DO i have to file as NB? / R4 District. 1-1/2 stories existing, changing to 2-stories… Thanks in advance for all your help. I will owe someone big for this one… Expedite

Down to two walls remaining? Sounds like more than 50% of the house is being removed and rebuilt, so it would be a demo application, followed by a NB. We did one in Queens not too long ago where we filed the demo and a CCD1 to request that we didn’t have to remove the foundation, which is typically required with a demo job. The CCD1 was granted and we were able to re-use the foundation, subject to an inspection of the foundation for structural integrity.
