FS: Still in box: 3rd Generation Nest Thermostat
If you have a Mitsubishi heat pump – there is now an original part available that makes it compatible. The part is almost as expensive as the Nest itself, and I haven’t tried it myself – but mane this info helps you if you really want the nest badly.

Unfortunately we are unable to use the Nest with our heating /AC system. Even more unfortunately, we missed the deadline when this could be returned via Amazon. Paid $240, asking $200\. Interested?
